Playgrounds abound

Bellarine Peninsula playgrounds like Kingston Park's latest addition offer plenty of free fun for kids.

If you’re looking for free, family-friendly fun during your stay on the Bellarine, a visit to a local playground is the perfect option.

The recently redeveloped Kingston Park playground in Ocean Grove is one not to miss.

Nestled in a beautiful natural bushland setting, the playground features a six-metre high central tower with two slides as its spectacular centrepiece.

There are areas for both passive and active play, as well as inclusive elements for children of all abilities.

The playground’s design and landscaping celebrates the surrounding native vegetation such as the rare Bellarine Yellow Gum, with story posts positioned amongst the play equipment.

And if you’re planning to settle in for the day, there are BBQs, seating, public toilet facilities and a rotunda as well.

You’ll find the Kingston Park playground at 8-52 Adco Grove, Ocean Grove.

While you’re here, visit these great playgrounds as well:
